Will two 12 in alpine type r 2 ohm work well with SONY XM-ZR1852 2-Channel 1000W?

high guys i know some stuff about car subs but not everything right now i have 2 kicker 07CVR12-4, they are 12in 4 ohms and im using a SONY XM-ZR1852 (XMZR1852) 2-Channel 1000W Xplod AMPLIFIER and my subs sounds wicked smooth and very loud but i need something more ,so my friend will sell me 2 alpine type r's 2ohm and they are 600rms 1800peak for 150 bucks for 2 of them wich is a great deal and i know there in good condition, i was wondering if my sony amp would work well with the type r's just for now until i get a bettter amp, and believe me i know sony doesnt make the best but what ever it was dirt cheap, so would it be ok with the type r's for a couple months?
