Unknown Industrial/Electronic Song?

My bf has this song on his laptop, its from some mix his ex made, well we can't figure out who does the song and he does not talk to his ex anymore, so we are limited on how to figure out who does this song. I asked him to upload the song, but I am waiting for him to do that, so in the mean time perhaps someone can help me with the little info I can explain about it. I believe its a male singer, distorted vocals, I think most of the lyrics are english and the only lyrics I get out of it are "searching for a new hate/fate" I think I heard him say duty and eight somewhere in the song as well but I could be wrong. I know that isn't much information at all but I'm hoping someone knows what the hell I'm talking about cause I've done a lot of random searches online and have come up with nothing, as expected. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, responses are much obliged, Thanks!
